Terms of Enquiry

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to the website of Ho Wai Printing & Publishing Co., Ltd. (“Ho Wai”, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Enquiry apply to quotations, paid sample requests, product enquiries and business enquiries submitted through this website.

1. Nature of Website Enquiries

Any quotation request, paid sample request, artwork submission or business enquiry submitted through this website is treated as a preliminary business enquiry or information submission only. It does not by itself constitute:

  • acceptance of an order by the Company;
  • a confirmed formal quotation;
  • a confirmed production arrangement;
  • a guaranteed delivery date, quantity, price or other commercial term; or
  • a legally binding contract between the parties.

All formal commercial arrangements remain subject to further written confirmation by the Company.

2. Quotations and Pricing

Any price indication, estimate or quotation provided after a website enquiry may depend on factors including:

  • product category;
  • size, page count and quantity;
  • materials, paper and finishing requirements;
  • design or artwork condition;
  • packing, delivery arrangement and other specific requirements.

Unless otherwise confirmed by the Company in writing, all pricing and related terms may be adjusted according to the actual specifications and requirements.

3. Product Information, Images and Catalogue

Product information, images, designs, colours, dimensions, packaging and other content shown on this website or in the catalogue are primarily for general reference and introduction purposes. Actual finished products may differ slightly from the website presentation due to factors such as:

  • printing method;
  • material or paper differences;
  • finishing processes;
  • screen colour variation;
  • photo styling or proportional display; and
  • production batch variation.

Customers should confirm final product specifications with the Company before placing an order where necessary.

4. Samples and Paid Samples

The Company may, depending on the circumstances, provide samples or arrange paid sample requests. Availability, charges, content, delivery arrangement and handling are subject to product type, actual availability and the Company's internal arrangement.

Submitting a “Paid Sample Request” form does not mean that the request has been accepted or that the requested sample is guaranteed to be available.

5. Customer Information and Artwork

Any information, artwork, logos, images, brand materials, product specifications or other content submitted by a customer should be material that the customer is entitled to use, provide and authorise the Company to handle. Customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted content:

  • is accurate and complete;
  • does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
  • does not contain unlawful, misleading or inappropriate content; and
  • is suitable for enquiry, quotation, sample or production-related communication.

The Company shall not be responsible for delay, additional cost, dispute or loss arising from incomplete, inaccurate or unauthorised content provided by a customer.

6. Artwork, Proofing and Final Confirmation

If a later order involves artwork, layout, text, dimensions, colours or other production details, the customer is responsible for carefully checking all final confirmed materials before production proceeds.

Unless otherwise expressly confirmed by the Company in writing, information shown, discussed or transmitted at the website enquiry stage should not be treated as final production instruction.

7. Production Timing and Delivery

Any production lead time, delivery arrangement or estimated completion date depends on the specific order requirements, actual production capacity, material status and confirmation progress.

Unless separately confirmed by the Company in writing, any timeframe mentioned during website enquiry or preliminary discussion is for reference only and should not be treated as a guaranteed deadline.

8. Formation of Orders

An order should only be regarded as formally established after product specifications, quantity, price, relevant terms and necessary information have been confirmed between the customer and the Company, and the Company has provided formal written confirmation.

Before that stage, communications are generally treated as enquiry, discussion or preparation only.

9. Limitation of Responsibility

The Company will use reasonable efforts to keep website content and enquiry handling accurate and functional, but does not guarantee:

  • that all website information is completely error-free;
  • that all content is always up to date;
  • that every enquiry will be accepted;
  • that every sample can be provided;
  • that all enquiries will receive an immediate response; or
  • that the website will always be uninterrupted or free from delay or technical issues.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the website, reliance on website content, submission of enquiries or failure to conclude a transaction.

10. Privacy and Use of Information

Personal data and business information submitted through this website will be handled in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.

By submitting an enquiry, the user acknowledges that the information provided may be used by the Company for enquiry handling, quotation follow-up, paid sample processing, customer contact and related business follow-up.

11. Updates to These Terms

The Company may update these Terms of Enquiry from time to time to reflect changes in website content, business arrangements or legal requirements.

The latest version published on the website shall prevail.
